Just before 7pm yesterday evening, Millwood FD was dispatched with Chappaqua VAC and Westchester EMS to a reported motor vehicle rollover with a victim trapped. Car 2253 (AC Santone) was first on scene and confirmed the rollover with an occupant self-extricating out of the sunroof. Upon the arrival of Car 2251 (Chief Rodrigues), Car 2252 (AC McCarthy), and Rescue 36, members controlled traffic and remained on scene until the vehicle was removed. Meanwhile, 2 full crews remained at Station 1 to cover our district in the event of another call. Units remained on scene for just under an hour before returning to service.
