Just after 1:30 this afternoon, Millwood FD was dispatched with Chappaqua VAC and Westchester EMS 45Medic1 to a reported large tree that fell on an occupied vehicle in the area of Gedney Park. Car 2252 (Chief McCarthy) arrived first on scene, confirming a large tree had fallen on an vehicle with all occupants out on arrival. Upon the arrival of Car 2251 (Chief Rodrigues), Car 2253 (Chief Santone), Engine 247, and Rescue 36, Route 120 was closed for about 30 minutes while debris was removed from the road and the patients were evaluated by EMS personnel. All units returned to service within 45 minutes.
