During last night's storm, Millwood FD members took the opportunity to conduct large-area search and rescue training in the apparatus bay at Station 1. The size of our apparatus bay allowed members to simulate conducting a search in a large, open room, such as a warehouse, grocery store, or other large structures in our district.

Once drill concluded, members staffed both stations and remained on standby throughout the night to ensure a quick response during the inclement weather event.
