Ladder 52 Responds to Montrose, Tanker 15 Responds to Chappaqua

At 3:45pm Wednesday afternoon, Millwood FD Ladder 52 was requested to relocate to Montrose FD headquarters with Peekskill FD Engine 130 while Montrose FD and other departments operated at a chimney fire in their district. Car 2252 (Chief McCarthy) and Ladder 52 responded moments after dispatch and remained at Montrose FD HQ for just under an hour before being released. Just over an hour later, Millwood FD Tanker 15 was requested on an automatic mutual aid assignment to a reported chimney fire in Chappaqua FD's district. Car 2251 (Chief Rodrigues) and Tanker 15 responded with a full crew. Chappaqua FD members quickly got the scene under control, and Millwood FD was put back in service shortly after arrival.
