Millwood FD members had the opportunity to conduct live fire training with the Pleasantville FD at the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services Fire Training Center last night. During the drill, members were split into truck companies and engine companies to practice the skills and duties each company has on the fireground. Live fire training is invaluable to our volunteers, as it's the best way for members to experience the heat, fire, and lack of visibility they will encounter during a real structure fire.
