This morning, Millwood FD Tanker 15 participated in a tanker drill led by Ossining FD at the Hudson Riverfront. Joined by tankers from Bedford Hills FD, Banksville FD, Pocantico Hills FD, and Putnam Valley FD, members from all departments had the opportunity to review tanker operations, including drafting and water shuttling. Reviewing these skills is crucial for all departments, as many areas of our districts contain sections without fire hydrants.
